Bike Rodeo
The Bike Rodeo will be held on Saturday, May 9, 1987, 10:00 a.m.
at the school parking lot. At this year's rodeo we will again
have a Safety Officer from the State of MN, a bike safety check,
a bike rodeo course for the kids to participate in, also we are
purchasing Light-A-Bike reflector kits. There will be refreshments
and Free-Style Bikers for entertainment. May 16, will be the al -
ternate date if rained out.
Svrin~ and Summer Program
Pat Bush presented preliminary plans for programs. After_discus-
• sion and minor changes the Commission approved the programs and
the program will be in the April Newsletter. We were very happy
to learn that Bob Andre will return as coach. A brief outline of
our program will also be included in the Roseville Summer School
Brochure and Pat Bush will be at Summer School Registration, April
11, to register people for our programs also.
Park Improvements and Budget
The sign for the Grove Park will be completed soon and be installed
this spring. The new security light has drawn complaints from
neighbors as being too bright and intrusive, this will be corrected.
The Grove Park residents are undecided about the gazebo and we have
tabled this idea at present.
The Commission decided to place a satelite toilet at the Community
Park since we are unable to have the lavatories open due to van-
dalism. This is to be on a trial basis for the summer months and
will be publicized as such in the April Newsletter.
