the Parks and Recreation Commission

have recently applied to serve on the parks and recreation
commission. Welcome and thanks for their willingnes to serve.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: Dead of Winter Inspirational Event
SUBMITTED BY: Carol Kriegler, Park & Rec Director
EXPLANATION/SUMMARY: For the past 2 years, the city has held a
"Dead of Winter Inspirational Event" at the Community Park on
the lst Sunday afternoon in the month of February. The event
has included a snow sculpturing contest, skating party, treasure
hunt, kid's games and races, and refreshments.
Some planning should occur in preparation for this year's event.
