There will be a meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission on Monday, October 12,
1987 at 7:00 P.M. at City Hall. Please call the city office or Linda McLoon if you are
unable to attend. Please call me if there are items that you feel should be on the agenda.
The following agenda will be discussed.

Park and Recreation Commission
September 14, 1987
Members Present: Bob Gehrz, Paul Nelson, Pat Bush, Connie Lasser, Jean
Ohman, Linda McL'oon, Paul Ciernia-Council Liaison
Members Absent: Tom Montain, Ardis Hutchins, Floyd Bedbury
Fall Program Publicity
Pat Bush reported that a joint flyer with Roseville Area Community Education
and Falcon Heights would soon go out to school age children. Also, it may
also appear in the Bugle, Cable Television, and parochial schools.
Grove Park
Problems continue with the surface at this park. Black dirt, seed and/or sod
mill be added in the spring. Some trees need to be replaced.
Community Park Playing Fields
. Roseville will let Falcon Heights run their aeration equipment this fall.
Piano
The piano recently purchased from Schmitt Music was unacceptable and returned.
A member of the Senior Group donated a piano, which will be tuned and then put
in use.
Lion Club Christmas Tree Sale
This. club would use the .area in the Community Park where the ice rink would go.
However, since they would be done by December 13, 1987, this would not be a
problem as flooding is not done before then anyway.
