REPORTS, REQUESTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
D.1 . Discussion with Andy Sudbrock, ecologist with Applied Ecology,
regarding the status and potential of the city's prairie areas.
Andy gave a slide presentation that included general information regarding
prairie establishment and maintenance as well as pictures of several projects
Applied Ecology has conducted. Andy gave a general overview of the work
that has taken place at city hall and shared his thoughts related to the
Community Park prairie. He suggested that the prairie be further diversified
with a greater variety of wildflowers and grasses.
