Stefanson, 4eistfeld, Nilsen, Wa11in, Mead and Chenoweth. Also present was Council Liaison Ciernia. 01son, Brown, Bourquin. The June 6, 1883 Minutes were discussed. There being no corrections or dietions, Don Maad moved, seconded by Phil Chenoweth, that the June b, 1983 Minutes be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. PRESENT ABSENT JUNE 6, 1883 MINUTES APPROVBU A variance request Prom George Croft, 1?~00 St. Marys, tc~ widen the driveway VARIAI~E four feet was considered. Mr. Croft was not in attendance. M1,R2S . on this variance, Harold Nilsen moved, seconded by Phil Chenoweth, that the APPROVED variance request be approved. Motion carried unan3mou81y. A variance request from Thamaa G. Chen®wetb moved, seconded by Don Mead, that the variance request APPROVED be approved. Motion carried unanim®us1,y. Al Stefanson reviewed his letter dated June 1lt, 1983 to Carl Dale. Since ZONING. Mr. Dale intends to submit the information ®n the zoning ordinance rewrite ORDINANCE this week, a workshop was scheduled for July 18th at 7s00 P.M. Harold WO~iBSHOP Nilsen stated that at the time th• new zoning ordinance is adopted during the public hearing process, the Hawkins/Hern-es property should be coned H-1. Council Liaison Ciernia reviewed the Good Value, Hewlett Packard and Hawkins/ Hermes development areas and updated Planning Camomi.ssion m®bera of the DEVELOPMENT present progress. The City is presently negotiating ease~oents since Hewlett- UPDATE Packard has chosen not to acquire the Hermes property. Council Liaison Ciernia reported that Don Gri~uer of the Citizens Development Committee would be happy to work with the Planning Commission a®t through CITIZENS the Platnriing Commission. He 'had contacted Chairman Stefanson to invite DEVE,LOPMSNT Planning Commission members to attend their meetings. COMMITTEE Council Liaison Ciernia also advised that the C1ty Council discussed the CRITERIA 1~OR Platuai.ng Commission request for establishment of objective criteria for ZONING zoning of the Hawkins property. Mayor Warkeatieg requested Council input ~-WgI~ at their July 13th Council meeting to devel®p this criteria.
