For the past several months, SRF Consulting and the Larpenteur Streetscape Advisory Committee have been working on a draft concept plan for streetscaping along Larpenteur Avenue. The
committee has met three times, and the city held an open house where the public was invited to attend and share their ideas. The report before the council tonight is a compilation of
those ideas. It should be noted that our consultants attempted to include as much as they could in this concept plan so that the committee and council could look at all available options.
It is unlikely that we can afford to include all that is contemplated in this draft, and the advisory committee made several recommendations on what they felt the priorities should be.
SRF will be on-hand at Monday's workshop to present the plan and discuss it in more detail. S?taff will be looking for what the council's priorities are so that more formal cost estimates
and construction schedules can be developed.
