RESOLUTION REPEALING STATUTORY LANGUAGE REGARDING THE FALCON HEIGHTS FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS the Minnesota state legislature passed legislation aimed at repealing state statutes relating to individual cities’ fire department relief association pension amounts;
WHEREAS the Falcon Heights Fire Department Relief Association bylaws already addresses these amounts; and supersedes statutes specific to Falcon Heights passed in 1969 and 1974.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Falcon Heights City Council hereby repeals the legislative language as outlined in Chapter 349, Article 14, Section 13, Subdivision 6 of the 2008 State
of Minnesota legislature.
