HomeMy WebLinkAbout09-02 Feasibility StudyCITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS COUNCIL RESOLUTION February 25, 2009 No. 09-02 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR 2009 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 10, 2008, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the following streets: ( Prior Avenue, (Larpenteur Ave to cul- de- sac) ( Maple Knoll Drive, (Fry St to Garden Ave) ( Garden Ave, (Fry St to W Snelling Frontage Rd) ( Fry Street, (Maple Knoll Dr to Garden Ave) and, WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $231,598.22. 2.
