Justin Miller Guests: Jenna Tuma, Alex Sharpe, Sharon Brown Absent: Nina Semmelroth, Stan Sveen, Ron Kroese 1. Miller introduced the students from Minnesota State-Mankato and explained
that they were helping the city formulate an environmental strategic plan. The commission was asked to think about big-picture items and determine what the city should be focusing on.
Ideas that were generated were transit alternatives, improving stormwater quality (and reducing quantity), household energy reductions, and becoming more locally self-reliant. The student
team will continue to work on the plan and bring it back to the commission for further review. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm. Falcon Heights Environment Commission ??f?????
