MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 28, 2008 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 28th day of <br />May, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Ms. Barb Allan <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Michael McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />Fire Chief <br />Asst. Fire Chief <br />Asst. Fire Chief <br />Secretary <br />Treasurer <br />Member-At-Large <br />Member-At-Large <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Mr. Steve Morelan <br />Mr. Don Smiley <br />Mr. Todd Baciagalupo <br />Mr. Randy Graczyk <br />Mr. Tim Boss <br />Mr. Gar Johnson <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />LITTLE The purpose of this evening's workshop meeting is to meet with <br />CANADA representatives of the Little Canada Fire Department to review various <br />FIRE Fire Department issues. <br />DEPARTMENT <br />CALLS FOR Don Smiley began with a review of calls for service received by the <br />SERVICE Fire Department. The historical numbers for the past five years are as <br />follows: <br />2007 249 <br />2006 229 <br />2005 212 <br />2004 183 <br />2003 184 <br />Smiley reviewed graphs showing calls for service based on time of day, <br />day of week, incident type, and property type. It was noted that number of <br />calls for service are increasing, and Jim Morelan and Don Smiley <br />
