MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 8, 2015 <br />PARK & <br />RECREATION <br />COMMISSION <br />APPOINTMENT <br />STRIPING OF <br />LITTLE <br />CANADA <br />ROAD <br />ADJOURN <br />indicated that he would review the Statute and have a report to the Council <br />at its next meeting. <br />Montour agreed with the need to update the Solicitors Ordinance, noting <br />that after the May hail storm, there were a rash of individuals going door- <br />to-door. He felt it beneficial for residents that solicitors be required to <br />register with the City. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-7-139 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITORS ORDINANCE UNTIL THE <br />JULY 22, 2015 COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Clerk reported that the City has received no applications for <br />the vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission. She reported that <br />this vacancy will be advertised in the upcoming City newsletters and was <br />hopeful that this will generate some interest. <br />Duane Theisen asked when Little Canada Road will be restriped given <br />that sealcoating has been completed. Theisen felt that it was an unsafe <br />situation without the striping. The City Administrator indicated that the <br />County will be restriping the road and indicated that he would have the <br />Public Works Superintendent contact Theisen with this information. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:03 p.m. <br />Attest: <br />John/ leis, Mayor <br />anson, City Administrator <br />5 <br />
