MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 2G, 2005 Ms. Allan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.2005-IO-2SI -APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN FOR AE SIGN SYSTEMS THAT INCL UDES A PYLON SIGN WITH ELECTRONIC READER BOARD WITHA MESSAGE THAT CAN CHANGE ONCE EVERY 24 HOURS CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S CURRENT CODE REQUIREMENTS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (3) Allan, LaValle, Blesener. Nays (2) Montour, Keis. Blesener instructed the City Planner to do a more in-depth study and come back with a recommendation. The Planner indicated that the 3 second timeframe is common, but agreed there may be a wid i er var ety of options. REZONING OF GERVAIS Mayor .Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the rezoning of Gervais Mill Park and N d MILL PARK a eau Park from Single-Family Residential (R-1) to Public (P). He noted that the Parks & R AND NADEAU ecreation Commission and the Planning Commission h PARK - ave recommended approval of the rezonings as proposed, and that these rezonings reflect that actual use of the i ~,~ se propert es as City parks. Blesener further noted that there are two lots that were inadvertently omitted from the rezoning of Nadeau P k ar . These. two lots will be considered in the November meeting cycle. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-IO-2S2 -APPROVING THE REZONING OF GERVAIS MILL PARKAND NADEAU PARK FROM SINGLE- FAtYlILYRESIDENTIAL (R-I) TO PUBLIC (P) AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PARKS ~ RECREATION COMMISSION AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
