119INUTC,S OT THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />FEBRUARY 10, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of <br />February, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair Dan Knudsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the Plamling Commission were present at roll call: <br />PL,ANNLNG COMMISSION <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Gary Rheaume <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />Ms. Kathy Weihe <br />Ms. Katie Socha <br />ALSO PRrSl/NT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, City Clerk <br />WELCOME The Planning Commission welcomed Katie Socha as a new member <br />TO NEW completing the term of former Commissioner John Keis. <br />MEMBER <br />MINUTES '~Che January 13, 2005 Planning Commission minutes were approved as <br />submitted. <br />PUD PERMIT Lrin Mathern, Mendota Homes, appeared before the Commission <br />FOR SIGNAGE- requesting a i>lam~ed Unit Development Permit For a Comprehensive <br />MARKET Sign Plan for the Market Square Town Offices at the corner of <br />SQUARE Market Place Drive and Middle Street. Mathern reported that there are <br />TOWN three elements to the signage for the property. The signage component <br />OFFICES is the individual signs for each tenant. There are 13 individual of$ces, and <br />each would have a 2 foot by 3 foot identification sign next to the entrance <br />for each office. The second signage component is the monument sign for <br />the townoffice complex, and the third is the State farm Insurance sign that <br />one tenant wishes to mount on the building. <br />The City Plamier reviewed his reporC relative to the three signage <br />elements. With regard to the individual off ce signs, the Planner indicated <br />that the proposal meets the City's sign and architectural guidelines. With <br />regard to the monument sign, the Planner recommended that the lettering <br />
