MINUTES CITY COUNCIL TEBRUARY 9, 2005 WORKSHOP RELATIVE TO RICE STREET/ LITTLE CANADA ROAD REDEVELOP- MENT CLOSED SESSION update to the Council given that many of these items are already underway. The City Administrator recommended that a workshop meeting be scheduled for Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 6:00 p. m. to meet with George Sherman, Sherman Associates, relative to the status of redevelopment of the Rice Street/Little Canada Road area. Mr. ilesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-2-39 -.SCHEDULING A WORKSHOP ML'lT/NG FOIl WEDNEb'DAY, FEI3RUAR3' 23, 2005, AT 6:00 P.M. TO REVIEW T]IF_ STATUS OF THE RICE ST2EF,T/LITTLE CANADA ROAD REDEVELOAMENT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Keis, Montour, Allan. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PLANNING "The City Administrator repoiCed that he and the Planning Commission COMMISSION Chair interviewed Che two applicants for the open position on the A:P:POINTMENT Planning Commission. While both were very qualified and would do a fine job, the Administrator indicated that their recommendation is that I{atie Socha be appointed to the position. By unanimous ballot of the Council, 1<atie Socha was appointed to fill the open position on the Planning Commission which runs through December, 2005.
