MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 18, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 18th day of <br />April, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Ms. Barbara Allan <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Council Member <br />City Administrator <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />2005 The Council reviewed the City Engineer's report dated April 15, 2005 <br />IMPROVEMENTS summarizing the bids that were received for 2005 Improvements, County <br />Road B-2 from Rice to Viking Drive, Carla Lane, and Noel Drive. It was <br />noted that four bids were received, with the low bid from Tower Asphalt <br />in the amount of $2,168,497.46. The City Engineer has recommended the <br />award of the 2005 Improvement Projects to Tower Asphalt. <br />LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-4-91 -AWARDING THE LOW BID OF <br />TOWER ASPHALT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,168,497.46 FOR 2005 <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Allan. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN LaValle introduced the following reso]ution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-4-92 -ADJOURNING <br />
