Keis questioned the parking allocation for Parcels One and Two. It
was noted that Parcel One needs to be constructed as it is the key
component to the commercial portion of the redevelopment. Parcel
Two will be evaluated at the time a specific proposal is presented.
The City Administrator noted that Mr. Sherman is aware of the City's
parking requirements and their impact on his construction program.
LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-8-]I -APPROVING THE FIRST
AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR
THE VILLAGE AT LITTLE CANADA AND AUTHORIZING THE
PRESIDENT AND THE SECRETARY TO EXECUTE ON
BEHALF OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
The next document reviewed was an Amendment to the Purchase
Agreement and Right of Entry Agreement for The Village at Little
Canada affecting Parcels One and Two. These revisions allow for the
developer to construct all parking, access, and utilities necessary for
Parcels One and Two. IC will also require the developer to maintain
Che unimproved portion of Parcel Two in an aesthetically pleasing
manner. Lastly, Che Right of Entry Agreement will allow the
developer to commence contamination clean up activities on Parcel
One prior to closing on the parcel. It was noted that this work will
commence next week, and Frattalone Companies is the contractor.
LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2005-8-12 -APPROVING THE AMENDMENT
TO THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND THE RIGHT OF
ENTRY AGREEMENT FOR THE VILLAGE AT LITTLE
CANADA AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT AND
SECRETARY TO EXECUTE THESE AGREEMENTS OF
BEHALF OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0).
