MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 26, 2005 <br />some members of the Planning Commission are in jeopardy of being <br />deemed as failing to serve. The Clerk noted that special meetings are <br />scheduled with short notice to the Commissioners, thus making it difficult <br />to accommodate everyone's schedule. Therefore, it is staff's <br />recommendation that the City Code be amended to eliminate special <br />meetings from attendance requirements. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2005-IO-257 -AMENDING SECTIONS 202 AND <br />2501 OF THE CITY CODE RELATIVE TO PLANNING <br />COMMISSION AND PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br />ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS ELIMINATING SPECIAL <br />MEETINGS FROM THE ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT <br />STANDARD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Montour, Blesener, Keis, Allan. <br />Nays (1) LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. <br />LETTER TO The Council reviewed the City Administrator's draft letter to Carla <br />CARLA Lane property owners responding to the questions raised at the recent <br />LANE assessment hearing. The Council found the letter acceptable. <br />RESIDENTS <br />RELATIVE <br />TO <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />ADJOURN LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2005-IO-258 -ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
