MINUTES Or THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 16, 2005 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 16th day of <br />November, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />Council Member Ms. Barbara Allan <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Decision Resources Mr. Peter Leatherman <br />Planning Comm. Mr. Tom Duray <br />Parks &Rec Comm. Ms. Ginger Sackett Glaser <br />Parks Consultant Mr. Bill Sanders <br />Finance Director Ms. Shelly Rueckert <br />Parks &Rec Director Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Public Works Supt. Mr. Bill Dircks <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />COMMUNITY Peter Leatherman, Decision Resources, reviewed the process for <br />SURVEY writing, Cesting, and conducting the City's community survey. Once the <br />surveying is complete, Decision Resources will present its results to the <br />City. Leatherman anticipated thaC the survey would be pre-tested in <br />December, modifications made to the questionnaire, if necessary, and then <br />survey calling would begin in January. Calls would be made to a 400 <br />random sample, which generates accuracy of results plus or minus 5%. <br />Leatherman noted that Che purpose of tonight's workshop was to review <br />and clarify the survey Copics that the City has generated thus far, as well as <br />identify any new topics that there might be interest in. Leatherman began <br />with a review of the minutes of September 28~h workshop meeting and the <br />topics identified at that meeting. <br />The first category is "Demographics". The consensus was that survey <br />would break out results based on four City quadrants as was done in the <br />1995 survey. <br />
