MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA DECEMBER 14, 2005 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of December, 2005 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Rick Montour Council Member Ms. Barbara Allan Council Member Mr. John Keis ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman Cable TV Producer Mr. Brandon Rickert City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-12-283 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE NOVEMBER 23, 2005 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AND THE DECEMBER 5, 2005 TRUTH IN TAXATION MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. VARIANCE Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider the request FOR for a Variance allowing a second driveway curb-cut for the DRIVEWAY - property at 601 East County Road B-2, Mike and Heidi Murphy. GOl EAST Blesener noted that both the City Planner and the Planning COUNTY Commission have recommended againsC the Variance on Che basis ROAD B-2 - that there is no hardship present. Blesener reviewed the variance MURPHY evaluation criteria outlined in Che City Planner's report, noting that the Variance request would have to meet these terms of the ordinance in order to be granted. Blesener stated that, as presented, the Variance request would not meet the criteria for approval.
