MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 9, 2008 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 9th day of July, <br />2008 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Ms. Barbara Allan <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Adminishator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Kevin Helander <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Ms. Allan inhoduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO.2008-7--167 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE JUNE 25, 2008 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING, THE JUNE <br />25, 2008 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING, AND THE JUNE 25, 2008 <br />CLOSED COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NATIONAL On behalf of the entire City Council, Mayor Blesener proclaimed <br />NIGHT August 5, 2008 as National Night Out in the City of Little Canada. <br />OUT Blesener noted that the Ramsey County Sheriffls Department will be <br />informing the City of the locations of National Night Out events within <br />Little Canada, and he and the Council Members will attend these events. <br />TARA Eileen O'Hara representing Tara Event Center and representatives of <br />EVENT Heritage Theatre Company informed the Council of their location in <br />CENTER/ the Market Place Shopping Center and their mission to provide an open <br />HERITAGE venue for family-friendly parties and entertainment in the City. O'Hara <br />THEATRE indicated that Tara Event Center is partnering with the Little Venetian <br />COMPANY for food and beverage service as an addition to the theatre entertainment. <br />
