They have already secured the materials to build the <br />wood duck houses from Ducks Unlimited. The City of Little Canada will be supplying <br />posts and raccoon shields to the troop. The Cub Scouts will be making the wood duck <br />houses on April 3 & 4 at one of their retreats. The installation will begin on April 5 and <br />they will try to get as many houses installed as possible prior to the wood ducks arriving. <br />This will be a tricky time to install the houses due to ice and weather conditions. <br />The following is the number of houses to be installed in the parks: <br />Park/Pond # of Houses <br />Gervais Mill 5 <br />Thunder Bay/Aspen Pond 2 <br />Nadeau Wildlife 2 <br />Pioneer Park 2 <br />Rondeau 1 <br />Spooner 1 <br />Round Lake 1 <br />Undecided <br />Ii;UGisPACorrespondenceAKris' 2004\Wood Duck Houses.doc <br />
