<br /> <br />Caught in the Park <br />Will we catclz you in one of Little <br />Canada's parks? Little Canada offers sev- <br />eral parks for residents to enjoy. We are <br />proud of our parks and want to encourage <br />use of these facilities. As a result, our Parks <br />& Recreation Department will be taking pic- <br />tures ofpeople (with permission) using our <br />pat~ks and will feature them in this newsletter <br />or on our web site at www.ci.little- <br />canada mn us. The pictures will include in- <br />formation on the park that is featured. A map <br />showing the location of our parks is on our <br />web site. <br />Thunder Bay/Westwinds Park <br />In this picture, Little CanadaresidentDeb <br />Hellenberg walks her dog "Angus" who is al- <br />mostsixteen years old along the Thunder Bay <br />trail between Payne Avenue and Greenbrier <br />Su~eet. This trail will eventually be connected <br />to Maplewood's park system. Thunder Bay/ <br />Le Petiz Ca~~atli.en" <br />Westwinds Park is part of the linear park sys- <br />temthat takes advantage of the land within <br />theNSPtight-of-way. This eight acre neigh- <br />borhood packserves the growing number of <br />young families with children in the area. <br />Amenities include a hiking/biking trail and a <br />children's playbm~ound. <br />Page 4 <br />
