They were good stewards of the land, cherished the wetland and oak
woodland they owned. Both Don and Laura Ann were involved in Scouting programs and
shared the beauty of this small corner of Little Canada with many young people over the
years.
I am requesting the division of the parcel into two distinct parcels, a marsh land area to
be held as conservation wet land, and the high ground on which the dwelling is now
placed. My daughter and son-in-law will purchase the house and the high ground. I
would like to retain ownership of the wet land as hold it as a conversation site. Although
my daughter and son-in-law hope to live for many, many years in the existing homestead,
at some point in their lives it may be sold. Knowing the record of the City of Little
Canada concerning land development and how the city has allowed fragile wetland areas
to be 611ed in and used as building sites, I wish to retain this wetland area separately. In
this way I can insure that this fragile wetland area will not be destroyed for someone's
profit, and the legacy and stewardship of my parents will be carried on.
I would like the parcel to be divided as follows;
Parcel #1: high ground and dwelling
Dawson's Block 4, lots 2, 6, 7, and south 55 ft of lot 3,
plus Dawson's Block 13, the north 65 ft of lot 3
Parcel #2: wetland
Dawson's Block 4, lot 4, 5, and the remaining north 495 feet of lot 3,
plus Dawson's Block 13, lots 4, 5, and the south 485 ft of lot 3.
Sincerely,
Sharon Lew dow ki
L~
~~
