COMMENTARY ON HOW THE PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTMENT HAS CHANGED
Additional programs have been offered over the past 15 years, depending on suggestions
form the public and department staff. Declining enrollment has prevented us from
continuing some programs and we have strived to replace them with new ones to
accommodate the needs of the community and to maintain a "Pride in being a part of
Little Canada". I feel the additional programs, parks, trails, and other amenities offered to
the citizens of Little Canada, by our Parks and Recreation's Department Staff, has been a
big part of the overall community pride that is evident with our residents.
