Hanson <br />Jim Morelan <br />Jon Joriman <br />Tom Maida <br />Sharen Darling <br />Dave Miller <br />Ron Horwath <br />Bill Sanders <br />Don Bowman <br />Katie McGinnity <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />The purpose of this evening's workshop meeting is to discuss staff <br />transition planning and future service levels relative to the Parks & <br />Recreation Department. The Council held a workshop previously relative <br />to the City Clerk's retirement and resulting staff impacts. They also <br />discussed other potential staffing needs. <br />Keis noted the report that the Parks & Recreation Director prepared <br />relative to department accomplishments and history. The report addressed <br />staff job duties, program offerings, and participation numbers. Keis <br />pointed out that the department has been well run, but the question is <br />where the Parks & Recreation Department going in the future. Keis <br />pointed out changing demographics and communication methods. He <br />noted that participation numbers are down, yet the budget has remained <br />the same. <br />
