Pagel of 2 pages PETITION
March 16, 2004
On March 1~`~', the builder, Mr. Rowe met with Steve Grittman from City Hall. The results
were, that the builder of the Fasciana development (between Yorkton Ridge and Burke Road),
WILL NOT be purchasing the land on the existing driveway, for the road that he said he would
put into the development. Instead, all traffic Will be routed thru our two streets. Now,
because the original purchase of this parcel of land on the existing driveway, was not recorded,
the builder does not want to follow thru, due to more costs to himself. The residents on both
streets are extremely concerned about the increased traffic to our roads. As stated on the
Petition regarding Burlce Lane, the residents of Yorkton Ridge, do not want their road to be
extended either. There are currently 28 children that live on Yorkton Ridge. They all play on
the street, riding bikes, playing basketball, etc. WE do not want the increased daily traffic, nor
the trucks and vehicles that will be using these streets during construction. The Yorlaon ridge
residents feel that the new residents will choose Yorkton as an easier outlet to and from
their homes. We want the city to hold the builder accountable for his original agreement to
build the road down the existing road that the Fasciano's use. We all purchased homes in this
area because it was quiet (and we're already going to lose the trees that provide a cushion from
the freeway noise). We enjoy the private area and know that these attributes have added to our
home values.
Please sign below to support and stop the proposed continuation of Burke Lane and Yorkton
Ridge. Sign below in agreement that we want the builder (and the city to hold him accountable)
to honor his original plan and agreement to us, to purchase the land on the existing road and
create a road into his development.
1 Yv ~/~~~,~ ~F~L~
i ~,~
1 ~ l !'G~~IIcI~o~ nn~y)~ c/~
1 ~ ~ ~~ P 1C-f ~ n~ 11 y1 `~
/o~~ak~r~a ~n ~-
~3~ yn2~~tt~ Rt~c~
