MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 9, 2015 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-9-177 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVAL OF FINAL PAY REQUEST FOR HARDRIVES FOR <br />2010 IMPROVEMENTS; <br />*APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ST. <br />JOHN'S CHURCH FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2015; <br />*APPROVAL OF FUND TRANSFER FROM THE GENERAL FUND <br />TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AS RECOMMENDED <br />BY THE FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PURCHASE The City Administrator reported that he does not have the final purchase <br />AGREEMENT agreement for the purchase of 3100 Country Drive by Jim Schwalbach. <br />FOR 3100 He indicated Mr. Schwalbach's attorney prepared a standard purchase <br />COUNTRY agreement which has been reviewed by the City Attorney. There are a <br />DRIVE minor modifications needed, and Mr. Schwalbach's attorney had an <br />emergency and will be unavailable for the rest of the week. The <br />Administrator also indicated that the attorneys are discussing the language <br />needed to address the City's offer of $50,000 toward exterior <br />improvements, with the thought being to keep that language as simple as <br />possible. The Administrator also indicated that once the purchase <br />agreement is finalized, the property will need to be rezoned to Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD) District and a PUD Permit prepared. The <br />Administrator stated that, if the Council is comfortable, the purchase <br />agreement could be approved subject to final approval of the City <br />Attorney. <br />Jim Schwalbach, North Heights Hardware, stated that he would like to <br />move forward as quickly as possible in finalizing the purchase. He <br />indicated that there is work he would like to have done to the building yet <br />this fall as well as have a place for storage of snow blowers, etc. avoiding <br />the need to rent storage space. <br />The Council indicated its consensus with moving forward. <br />4 <br />
