MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 9, 2004 <br />COUNTY The City Administrator indicated that the City purchased property on <br />ROAD B County Road B approximately two years ago for $225,000 as a potential <br />PROPERTY site for a new public works garage. A local developer has expressed an <br />interest in this site for an office-warehouse development, and offered the <br />City $320,000 for the property. Given Council discussion that the location <br />of this property at the southern boundary of the City is not ideal for a <br />public works garage, an appraisal of the property was authorized. That <br />appraisal has been received and establishes a value of $385,000 for the <br />property. The developer has indicated that his is still interested in the site <br />subject to the ability to layout a building on the property. The <br />Administrator indicated that he anticipates bringing in a purchase <br />agreement at a later Council meeting for action. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-6-129 -ADJOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Montour, Blesener, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0).
