MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />L[TTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY .14, 2004 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened ou the 14th day of <br />July, 2004 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael L Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Council M. ember Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Deputy Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Anderson corrected the June 23, 2004 minutes to reflect that the first <br />paragraph on page 7 should be changed to read "no good City use of the <br />property". <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RBb'O1.(ITION NO. 2004-7-14] - APPROVJNG THE MINUTES OF <br />THE.TDNE 23, 2004 REGU7.AR COUNCIL, MEETINCAS <br />CORRECTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Anderson, Montow, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />REQUEST FOR Mayor Fahey noted that gun stores are not a permitted use under the City's <br />ZONING USE Codes, and Mr. Kurt Kennedy of Kennedy Arms Company desires to <br />STUDY - operate a gun store in Little Canada. Mr. Kennedy has requested that the <br />KENNEDY City conduct a zoning use study to determine whether there is interest in <br />ARMS CO. amending the B-3 Zoning District to allow gwr stores as a permitted use. <br />Kurt Kennedy, Kennedy Anus Company, indicated that guns would be a <br />small part of the business that would primarily consist of reloading and <br />ammunition sales. <br />
