MINUTES OR THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 2004 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 22nd day of <br />September, 2004 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Michael L Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m- and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Michael I. Flanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Mr. Lee Elfering <br />Mr. Brandon Rickert <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESO] UTION NO. 2004-9-277 - APPIZO DING THE MINUTES OT <br />THE SEPTEMBER 8, 2004 WORKSHOP MEETING AND T'HE <br />SEPTEMI3EX 8, 2004 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded Uy Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Montour, Blesener, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays(0). ;Resolution declared adopted. <br />OATH OI' Mayor Fahey pointed out there is a vacancy on the City Council due to the <br />OFITICE resignation ofM:att Anderson. Anderson's term of office extends until <br />December 31, 2004. He further noted that there were two filings for the <br />two Council seats up for election in November. Barbara Allan filed for <br />City Council and hick Montour fled for re-election. Fahey noted that it <br />was the consensus of the Council that Barbara A11an Ue appointed to fill <br />Anderson's remaining Council term. Barring awrite-in campaign, it is <br />anticipated that Montour and Allan will Ue elected iu November to fill the <br />two Council terms. <br />
