The City Administrator again noted that staff is recommending implementing first and second priorities. This would still leave a $27,404 deficit in the General Fund. TO DLSCUSS BUDGET LSSUES The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Anderson, Fahey, Montour. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. THE The City Attorney reported that the developers of The Preserve are taking PRESERVE legal action against the City. The matter has been tendered to the League of Minnesota Cities for defense. 2003 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS RESO1, UT ION NO. 2003-2-47 -APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2003 IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THESE PROTECTS WITH THE FOLLOWING PORTION OF THE PROJECT TO 13E ]3ID AS ALTERNATES: DEMONT PARKING LOT AND ACCESS ROAD, RONDEAU PARK IMPROVEMENTS, AND SPOONER PARK AGLIME STORAGE AREA The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. TRAIL The City Administrator reviewed the trail grant application for completion GRANT of two of the City's trail connections. The Administrator noted that the APPLICATION City funds for these improvements would come from the Park Land Dedication Fund. 13
