MINUTES Oh' TI3E REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL .LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA MARCH 2G, 2003 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 26th day of March, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member Council Member Council Member Mr. Michael I. Hanson Mr. Tom Sweeney Mr. Mark Ruff Mr. Greg Schroeder Mr. Jeremy Brodin Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESO7 UTION NO. 2003-3-61 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 12, 2003 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE MARC77 72, 2003 REGUI AR COUNCIL MEETING Ab' SU73MITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Blesener, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. BUDGET Mayor Fahey indicated that prior to tonight's meeting, the Council held a ISSUES workshop meeting to discuss the impact to the City of budget cuts that the State is considering. These cuts include elimination of Little Canada's Local Government Aid of approximately $90,000 and a reduction of an additional approximately $140,000 in funds to the City based on the Market Value Homestead Credit that the State provides to property owners.
