MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCII 26, 2003 <br />Blesener noted that this would expand Taste of Scandinavia's retail <br />component that is a better fit with the location at the Market Place <br />Shopping Center. <br />McNaught noted that 90% of the space would remain as a bakery <br />operation and 10% would be retail as previous presented to the Council. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOl. TASTE OF SCANDINA VIA TO INCI, UDE A 73AKERY <br />CAFE CONCEPT WITH SEATING FOR APPROa'IMATEI,Y 50 AS <br />WE77 AS AN OUTDOOR SEATING AREA DURING TFIE SUMMER <br />MONTHS' <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2003 The Public Works Director reviewed the bids received for 2003 <br />IMPROVEMENT improvement projects, noting that 8 bids were received ranging from <br />PROJECT BIDS a low of $1,172,000 to a high of $1,565,000. The low bid was $100,000 <br />under the Engineer's estimate. The low bid was received from Park <br />Construction, and the Director recommended acceptance of the low bid as <br />outlined in his memo dated Match 24, 2003. <br />Anderson noted the gas line that will need to be installed at the Demont <br />rink prior to the paving work being done. The Director indicated that he <br />will be obtaining prices for that work, and the matter will be addressed <br />prior to the pawing of the parking lot. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.
