MINUTES OF TI3E WORKSHOP MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA APRIL 9, 2003 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 9th day of April, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael L Fahey called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Michael L Fahey Council Member Mr. Matt Anderson Council Member Mr. Bil[ Blesener Council Member Mr. Jim LaValle Council Member Mr. Rick Montour ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R Hanson Parks & Rec. Mr. Resident Mr. Resident Mr. Deputy Clerk Ms. James Broten Craig Larson Bob Schabacker Richard Heinel Don Heinel Kathy Glanzer 2003 GOALS/ The purpose of this workshop is to review Action Plans prepared by ACTION PLANS City Stafffor the accomplishment of 2003 Goals. TRAIL SYSTEM The first action plan reviewed was for "Completion of the Pedestrian Trail System". As part of that review, the trail projects priority list was reviewed. Anderson noted previous discussion about moving up the priority for some of the smaller Crail connections. The Parks & Recreation Director noted that the City has submitted applications for trail grants, and some of these small trail connections are included as part of the applications. The Director suggested that the priority List be reviewed and reprioritized, if necessary. The next step would be to prepare a report on acquisition and easement issues and then to negotiate the easements.
