MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 13, 2003 <br />thanked St. Jude Medical for their support of the fireworks display noting <br />that the display was the best yet in the history of Canadian Days. <br />I~AMEL Mayor Fahey opened the continuation of Public Hearing to consider the <br />ESTATES Preliminary and Final Plat for Hamel Estates. It was noted that the City <br />Engineer and City Planner have reviewed the revised plat dated 7/25/03 <br />and have recommended approval subject to compliance with <br />recommendations outlined in their reports dated August 13, 2003 and <br />August 11, 2003, respectively. <br />Rob Carlson, Rob Carlson Builders, indicated that he is agreeable with the <br />recommendations of both the City Engineer and the City Planner. <br />There was no one else from the general public present wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-8-177-APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY <br />AND FINAL PLAT FOR HAMEI. Eb'TATES SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />ENGINEER, CITY PLANNER, PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMISSION AND .SUBJECT TO THE DEVELOPER ENTERING <br />INTO A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TIF Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the modification to <br />DEVELOPMENT Development Program for Development District No. 2 and the proposed <br />DISTRICT establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. Z-2 therein and the <br />NO.2 adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan therefore. Fahey noted that <br />these modifications are related to the District Council 82 development. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />2 <br />
