MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 13, 2003 <br />Upon motion by Montour, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The City Administrator reported that one of the properties in question is <br />the excess parking lot area at the Market Place Shopping Center. The <br />owners of the Market Place have entered into a purchase agreement with <br />another party on this site; therefore, it is likely that this parcel will be <br />removed from the sale to The Village. Sherman Associates is agreeable to <br />the removal of this parcel from the sale should that be necessary. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2003-X-13 -APPROVING THE SALE OF <br />CERTAIN REA7 PROPERTY ]3Y THE ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO THE VILLAGE AT LITTLE <br />CANADA, I,I,C <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />SALE OF Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the proposed sale of certain <br />PROPERTY real property by the Economic Development Authority to The Villas at <br />TO THE Little Canada LLC. <br />VILLA'S <br />AT LITTLE There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />CANADA this matter. <br />Upon motion by Blesener, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.
