MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 27, 2003
Anderson asked if the proposal was to dedicate a portion of the franchise
fee to pay off the bonds required to get all of the trail work done in one
action. Blesener felt that the Parks & Recreation Commission should
refine the trail priority list
Fahey pointed out that the Heinel option is out for now. The question is if
money were not spent for an off-street trail along Edgerton, what would
the next trail priority be. Fahey also noted that the County has to be
contacted to determine if it is feasible to restripe Edgerton to allow for a
wider on-street trail. Fahey agreed that additional safety options should
also be considered such as a rumble strip.
It was the consensus of those present that the Park Commission should
comment on the on street versus off-street Edgerton Street trail, as well as
update the trail projects priority list.
There being no further business, the workshop meeting was adjourned at
7:20 p.m.
O Ivlich~el I.
