Anon-conforming mobile home park shall be permitted to replace individual <br />mobile home units which are damaged as a result of catastrophic desnzzction <br />from fzre, weather, or natural disaster, providing that rzo more than fifty (SO) <br />percent of the capacity of the mobile borne pant is so destroyed. If at arty tinge, <br />arz event of destruction damages more thmz fifty (SO) percent of the capacity of <br />said park, the mobile home pant shall be put to a use which is in full <br />conformance with the applicable zoning ordinance and other federal, state and <br />local codes. <br />Given our interest in promoting safety in these parks through the construction of storm shelters, I have <br />instructed the Planner to prepare a draft amendment to allow Storm Shelters as conditional uses on these <br />properties. He will have this draft available for your comment at Wednesday's meeting.
