MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />AUGUST 8, 2002 <br />With regard to the tabling of the preliminary plat, the City Planner <br />indicated that the City's 60-day review period applies to zoning issues. <br />With regard to subdivision action, the City has a 120-day review period. <br />'T'he Planner indicated that he would research this issue, however, to verify <br />that the length of the review period is 120 days. <br />Roycraft recommended the tabling of action on the Preliminary Plat for <br />"1"he Preserve pending receipt of the \>,~illiams Pipeline report on this <br />development given the impact that this review could have on the <br />preliminary plat. <br />Motion seconded by 13arraclough. <br />Motion carried C - 0. <br />I-P DLSTRIC"I' - "hhe Commission reviewed the City Planner's recommended ordinance <br />OUTDOOR changes relative to outdoor storage and screening in the I-P Zoning <br />STORAGE & District. The City Planner noted that the Council still needs to call for <br />SCREENING a public hearing to consider adoption of the changes. <br />ISSUES <br />t3arraclough recommended approval of the I-P Zoning District <br />Amendments relative to outdoor storage and screening as recommended <br />by the City Planner, and recommended that the City Council ca11 for a <br />public hearing to consider adoption of these changes. <br />Motion seconded by Roya~aft. <br />Motion carried 6 --- 0. <br />1'IRST-RING The Deputy Clerl< noted the information in the agenda packet relative to <br />SUI3U,RB a First-Ring Suburb Forum geared toward Planning Commissioners and <br />FORUI\!t planning stair". <br />BUSINESS The City Administrator reviewed draft guidelines for a Business <br />REVOLVLNG Revolving Loan Program modeled after a program that is sponsored by <br />LOAN the City of Columbia Fleights "T'he Administrator noted that this program <br />P120GRA)\9 was a 2002 Goal identified at a Council/Sta(TGoal Setting Session held <br />earlier this year. "I'he pro~~ram would provide loans up to $25,000 for up <br />to 10 years at a 2% interest rate in conjunction with a matching bank loan <br />for businesses in certain targeted areas of the City to assist those <br />businesses in making aesthetic and/or site improvements.
