This is specifically the license that has generated our request fora "Teat
Amendment"& "Conditional Use Permit". I have from my landlord R.A.B. LLC
permission for the 5 dedicated spots (subject to approval from Little Canada) and am now
seeking approval from the City of Little Canada for the conditional use permit. I have
learned of the limitation set by the city of 4 retail dealer licenses within the city limits,
however although I am requesting a retail dealer license I am not establishing a retail lot
within the city of Little Canada and already have 2 lots outside of Little Canada. I am
asking for a text amendment that would allow for a retail dealers license to be treld
by a Little Canada business (over and above the 4 limit) as long as they do not locate
their lot in Little Canada.
In considering this request please keep in mind that I already have two remarketing lots
and never intend to use the Little Canada location for a storage or remarketing site. I am
just trying to comply with the state requirements regarding availability of display area.
To apply for a dealer's license at one of my two existing lots would require me to incur
significant additional expenses in the form of, additional salaries and office rent, (a MN
State requirement) right now I pay only lot charges. These additional expenses would be
duplicative to my business and I believe unnecessary.
I have enclosed the following information for your review:
Little Canada Cost Agreement
(executed by R.A.B. LLC and Allegiance Equipment Sales)
Application for Conditional Use Permit
Property Legal Description
Site Map /Plan
Copy of Completed MN Dealers License Application (showing the Minimum 5
unit display area)
Should anyone have airy additional questions or concerns addressed please do not hesitate
to contact me at 651-486-5313.
Thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Jolm Seibel
President
Allegiance Financial Group, Inc.
