MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 16, 2015 <br />TEMPORARY The City Clerk stated that St. John's Church has applied for a temporary <br />LIQUOR liquor license for their annual Cana Dinner to be held on January 30, 2016. <br />LICENSE FOR ST. She noted that all application materials and fee have been submitted and <br />JOHN'S CHURCH are in order, and recommends approval of a temporary liquor license. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2015-12-243 — APPR0VING A TEMPORARY <br />LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ST. JOHN'S CHURCH DINNER ON <br />JANUARY 30, 2016 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CALL FOR <br />The Administrator stated that Ramsey County reviewed the plat for <br />PUBLIC <br />Cardigan Ridge, the new senior housing development, and pointed out that <br />HEARING FOR A <br />there are two streets that were dedicated many years ago and never <br />PETITION TO <br />vacated. These streets are out in the middle of the pond and wetland area. <br />VACATE <br />The applicant, Hearth Development, has submitted a formal petition to <br />STREETS ON <br />vacate these two streets (Sixth Street and Middle Street). He recommends <br />THE CARDIGAN <br />calling for a public hearing on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 for the <br />RIDGE PLAT <br />vacation of these two streets. <br />Torkelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-12-244 — CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2016 FOR THE <br />VACATION OF PORTIONS OF SIXTH STREET AND MIDDLE <br />STREET IN LITTLE CANADA, AS SHOWN ON THE CARDIGAN <br />RIDGE PLAT. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Administrator noted that because of extra publication requirements <br />for street vacations, the public hearing could not be held at the January <br />1 11h meeting. If the developer needs to get the hearing done sooner, a <br />special Council meeting could be called. <br />14 <br />
