MINUTES OF' THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />DECEMBER 12, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of <br />December, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Jeremy Brodin, Cable TV Producer <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES The minutes of the November 14, 2002 Planning Commission meeting <br />were approved as submitted. <br />CONDITIONAL Rick and Jody Seeger, 2586 Spruce Street, appeared before the Planning <br />USE PERMIT- Commission requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit so they <br />2586 SPRUCE can construct a second garage structure on their property as well as have <br />STREET - total garage space exceeding 1,000 square feet in size. The Seeger's <br />SEEGER reported that they ai-e demolishing the existing house on their property and <br />wish to construct a new house with an attached garage. There is an <br />existing freestanding garage on the property as well as an existing shed <br />that they would like to retain. <br />Keis pointed out the Seeger's are also proposing a second driveway access <br />for the property. He noted that while the City Planner is recommending <br />approval of the CUP, he is recommending that the property be limited to <br />one curb cut. The Planning Commission informed the Seeger's that their <br />position was in support of only one driveway access for the property. <br />Alternatives were explored which included demolition of the existing <br />garage and increasing the size of the new garage to three cars, flipping the <br />
