MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP
MARCH 9, 2016
based on some early discussions, the Vadnais Heights Fire Department
could be willing to discuss some cooperative efforts, maybe even just with
equipment sharing.
The City Administrator stated that the next goal is to conduct a community
survey. He stated he didn't see that there was a pressing need to do a
survey now, unless there are specific things the Council wants to learn.
He stated that it would cost at least $20,000 to do the same type of survey
as last time. Montour suggested it could be a way to learn resident's
thoughts about Parks & Recreation programming, would they be willing to
have higher property taxes to pay for new fire equipment and staffing
levels, and thoughts about social media and the city website. McGraw
thinks a survey could be a good idea, but there needs to be a lot more
thought put in to it first. The City Administrator suggested discussing at a
future workshop.
ADJOURN There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
John'. .
