September 27, 2002 <br />Comprehensive Sign Plan <br />~Snyders llru~ Store) <br />The goal for this plan is to allow for the tenant to have adequate identification of store <br />name and services offered to the general public travelling Rice Street, and to those <br />entering the development. <br />While this plan does not exceed the allowable square footage of signs currently allowed <br />by code, it will increase the number of individual signs allowed by code, and get the <br />tenant closer to its typical sign package being used on their new stores. <br />This proposed plan would include: <br />• Two wall signs on the west elevation with a total area not to exceed 97 square <br />feet. <br />• Two wall signs on the south elevation with a total area not to exceed 97 <br />square feet. <br />• Three wall signs on the north elevation with a total area not to exceed 115 <br />square feet. <br />• Cun~ent code allows for a total of 310 square feet of signs. <br />This plan also includes the option to install a ground mounted double-sided pylon sign at <br />the maximum size and height currently allowed by code, providing the total area of all <br />signs (pylon plus wall signs) does not exceed the present allotment of 310 square feet. <br />Wall signs shall consist exclusively of individual letters, internally illuminated with neon <br />or L.Ir.D. The color of the face, letter body and illumination will be at the tenant's <br />discretion. <br />The pylon sign shall be of standard construction using concrete footings, steel uprights an <br />internally illuminated cabinet with translucent faces.
