<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Heidi Heller, City Clerk <br /> <br />DATE: April 8, 2016 <br /> <br />RE: 2016 Canadian Days Fireworks Contract <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Attached in the Canadian Days Fire Works Contract with RES Specialty Pyrotechnics for this <br />year’s celebration. The cost remains the same as the past few years at $5,200. The Canadian <br />Days Committee has again approved paying $1,000 of the cost, and the City would pay the <br />remaining $4,200. RES will provide the City and Canadian Days with a $5 million liability <br />insurance policy. <br /> <br />Based on RES Specialty Pyrotechnics past performance, City Staff recommends approval of the <br />contract as submitted. <br /> <br />
