MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 25, 2016 CONSENT AGENDA Montour thanked City Staff who helped organize the City-wide Garage Sale, and stated there were over 50 sales this year. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2016-5-89 —APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: *APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS *CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON JUNE 20, 2016 AT 6:001'M TO MEET WITH THE CITY UDITORS AND TO DISCUSS PARTICIPATING IN THE MINNESOTA GREENSTEP CITIES PROGRAM *TEMPORAR Y LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA RECREA TIONASSOCIA TIONA T CANADIAN DAYS, JUL Y28-31, 2016. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. RENEWAL OF The City Clerk stated that the license period for liquor, tobacco and LIQUOR AND amusement device licenses was annually from July 1 through June 30. TOBACCO AND She stated that the establishments applying for their renewed licenses are AMUSEMENT the same as last year, and all have received satisfactory Fire Inspections. DEVICE She stated that Staff recommends approval of all the licenses contingent LICENSES on receiving all of the required materials and fees, and receipt of satisfactory background checks on the license holders. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 2016-5-90 —APPROVING THE LIQUOR, TOBACCO AND AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSES FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1, 2016 — JUNE 30, 2017 WITH THE CONDITIONS AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY CLERK. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. REQUEST TO The City Administrator stated that Bob Hamper, representing the owner of PAY OFF HIA Unit #223 in Canabury Square Condominium Association, has requested ASSESSMENT that he be allowed to pay off the 2009 Housing Improvement Area (HIA) FOR UNIT 4223 AT CANABURY SQUARE 2
