MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 25, 2016 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Montour thanked City Staff who helped organize the City-wide Garage <br />Sale, and stated there were over 50 sales this year. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-5-89 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON JUNE 20, 2016 AT 6:001'M TO <br />MEET WITH THE CITY UDITORS AND TO DISCUSS <br />PARTICIPATING IN THE MINNESOTA GREENSTEP CITIES <br />PROGRAM <br />*TEMPORAR Y LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA <br />RECREA TIONASSOCIA TIONA T CANADIAN DAYS, JUL Y28-31, <br />2016. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RENEWAL OF <br />The City Clerk stated that the license period for liquor, tobacco and <br />LIQUOR AND <br />amusement device licenses was annually from July 1 through June 30. <br />TOBACCO AND <br />She stated that the establishments applying for their renewed licenses are <br />AMUSEMENT <br />the same as last year, and all have received satisfactory Fire Inspections. <br />DEVICE <br />She stated that Staff recommends approval of all the licenses contingent <br />LICENSES <br />on receiving all of the required materials and fees, and receipt of <br />satisfactory background checks on the license holders. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-5-90 —APPROVING THE LIQUOR, <br />TOBACCO AND AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSES FOR THE <br />PERIOD JULY 1, 2016 — JUNE 30, 2017 WITH THE CONDITIONS <br />AS PRESENTED BY THE CITY CLERK. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />REQUEST TO The City Administrator stated that Bob Hamper, representing the owner of <br />PAY OFF HIA Unit #223 in Canabury Square Condominium Association, has requested <br />ASSESSMENT that he be allowed to pay off the 2009 Housing Improvement Area (HIA) <br />FOR UNIT 4223 <br />AT CANABURY <br />SQUARE 2 <br />
