MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 13, 2016 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 13th day of July, <br />2016 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little <br />Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />ALSO PRESENT <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />City Administrator <br />Ramsey County Deputy <br />CliftonLarsonAllen <br />CliftonLarsonAllen <br />Finance Director <br />City Cleric <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Ty Sheridan <br />Ms. Michelle Hoffman <br />Mr. Chris Knopik <br />Ms. Sharon Provos <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />The purpose of this evening's meeting is for the City Council to discuss <br />neighborhood safety, participation in the GreenStep Cities program, and <br />review the 2015 audit with representatives from Clifton Allen Larson. <br />DISCUSSION The City Administrator stated that Ramsey County Sheriff's Deputy Ty <br />ABOUT Sheridan was in attendance to discuss the Council's concerns regarding <br />NEIGHBORHOOD crime in the City. <br />SAFETY <br />Torkelson stated that the Council should address the general safety <br />concern in the City after the Terrace Heights resident brought a petition <br />before the Council. Fischer stated there is a website available to the public <br />called www.raidsonline.com that will show crime statistics and search <br />criteria to narrow down the geographic area or type of crime. Montour <br />stated there had been an issue in his neighborhood and the Sheriff s <br />Department held a neighborhood meeting, which he felt was successful. <br />He stated the City used to have quarterly meetings with the City's <br />apartment complex owners and managers, and would provide them with <br />
