The City of Little <br />Canada uses social media to present news and information relating to the City of Little Canada. <br /> <br />Communications made through social media do not constitute legal or official notices by the City <br />of Little Canada, its agencies, officials or employees. For that information, please refer to legally- <br />required methods which include the Little Canada City Hall bulletin board or public notices <br />published in the City’s official newspaper. <br /> <br />Different social media sites, such as Facebook and YouTube, have different platforms with <br />different audiences. Messages may or may not appear on one or more of these sites, and are often <br />modified to suit these varying platforms and audiences. <br /> <br />We encourage your questions, comments, and concerns, but please note this is a moderated online <br />discussion site and not a public forum. <br /> <br />Once posted, the City of Little Canada reserves the right to delete comments that: <br /> <br />• Contain vulgar language or photos <br />• Are personal attacks of any kind <br />• Are offensive <br />• Are prejudiced or hurtful remarks made toward any person or entity, including any <br />ethnic, racial, or religious group <br />• Are SPAM <br />• Include sales/promotion of goods or services or links to other sites <br />• Are off-topic <br />• Advocate illegal activity <br />• Promote services, products or political organizations <br />• Advertising on the behalf of political candidates for public office or political issues <br />• Infringe on copyrights or trademarks <br />• Are private, personal information published without consent <br /> <br />Furthermore, the City of Little Canada may ban repeat violators from posting to the City’s social <br />media, as well as remove comments at any time, whether or not they violate the Comment Policy. <br /> <br />The City of Little Canada does not take requests from people wanting content, events, videos, <br />pictures or comments posted to any of its social media sites, including the City’s website.
