<br />Little Canada Zoning Ordinance General Provisions <br />903-20 <br />1. Clothes line pole and wires. <br /> <br />2. Recreational equipment and vehicles except that no parking of recreational <br />vehicles that are out of current season shall be permitted in the front yard (e.g. <br />boats during winter, snowmobiles during summer, etc.). <br /> <br />3. Construction and landscaping materials and equipment currently being used on <br />the premises, for a period of no more than sixty (60) days. In the case of <br />dumpsters or other waste containers being utilized for current construction <br />projects, such containers shall be emptied at intervals of no more than thirty (30) <br />days and shall be removed when not in use. <br /> <br /> 4. Off-street parking of passenger vehicles and trucks not exceeding a gross <br /> capacity of twelve thousand (12,000) pounds in residential areas. No such <br /> parking shall be permitted within the rear yard, except when such parking <br /> is upon a driveway leading to a garage, or other approved parking space. <br /> Vehicles located in a rear yard shall be considered vehicle storage and <br /> subject to the location and screening requirements of this section. <br /> <br />5. Temporary moving containers being used for current household relocation, for a <br />period of no more than thirty (30) days. <br /> <br />6. In Industrial Districts, gates which are part of a security fence enclosure need not <br />be screened, provided that the gate is no greater than twenty-four (24) feet in <br />length, and no more than one such gate is allowed to be unscreened per street <br />frontage. <br /> <br />7. Trash receptacles provided that such bins are kept in a location that is no more <br /> than five (5) feet from the house or garage. Screened trash enclosures may be <br /> located within fifteen (15) feet of the right of way line of the street. Trash <br /> receptacles may be placed at the street for 24 hours before and after the scheduled <br /> collection day. <br /> <br />P. Waste Material. Waste material resulting from or used in industrial or commercial <br />manufacturing, fabricating, servicing, processing or trimming shall not be washed into <br />the public storm sewer system nor the sanitary sewer system, but shall be disposed of in a <br />manner approved by the Minnesota State Fire Marshall and the Pollution Control <br />Agency. <br /> <br />Q. Bulk Storage (Liquid). All uses associated with the bulk storage of all gasoline, liquid <br />fertilizer, chemical, flammable and similar liquids shall comply with requirements of the <br />Minnesota State Fire Marshall and Minnesota Department of Agriculture Offices and <br />have documents from those offices stating the use is in compliance. <br />
