MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 14, 2016 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of <br />November, 2016 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Tom Fischer <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />City Administrator <br />Associate Planner <br />City Clerk <br />Avison Young <br />Avison Young <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />(via phone) <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Ms. Jessica Jagoe <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Mr. Bruce Bahneman <br />Mr. Matt Angleson <br />The purpose of this evening's meeting is for the City Council to meet with <br />representatives from Avison Young, Commercial Realtors, regarding the <br />marketing and listing of the city -owned property on Twin Lake Boulevard. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The City Administrator stated that Mr. Bahneman and Mr. Angleson from <br />WITH AVISON <br />Avison Young had requested a meeting with the City Council to discuss <br />YOUNG ABOUT <br />how their commercial real estate company could market and sell the city - <br />MARKETING <br />owned land on Twin Lake Boulevard. <br />THE CITY - <br />OWNED LAND <br />Mr. Bahneman reviewed the marketing materials they created for this site. <br />ON TWIN LAKE <br />He noted that it is a smaller property, but has the utilities in place and is in <br />BOULEVARD <br />a good location. He stated that there is a challenge with how to buffer <br />between the new development and the immediately adjacent trailer park. <br />Mr. Angleson reviewed how they would market the property using online <br />brochures that allow the seller to put as much information on this site as <br />possible and continuously update the data.
